xmas weather in CVO

What was the weather like xmas day in CVO - would it have been good enough for a BBQ on the beach? a friend was in Murcia and it was gorgeous there - started at 12.30 and left about 5.30. I was wondering whether it would be a good idea for 2012 - or is it changeable?

Christmas Day 2012 sunny and warm as it was for the 3 weeks of our stay, Christmas Day 2010 it ****** down as it seemed to do for the next two months.
Neither was typical weather for the Algarve in December.

This year, completely beautiful, sunny, warm, find a south facing spot and sunbathe / bbq to your hearts desire.
For 4 out of the last 5 years its been lovely - the odd year out - officially Portugals wettest winter on record - 2010, awful.
Already seen people on the beaches in shorts in Carvoeiro and Amercao.

I like EMM prediction for xmas 2012, looks like guaranteed sunshine next year.
