off tread , but maybe the Portuguese (or at least some of them) have better customer service than at home. Last year a full 18 months after taking possession of our apartment a service engineer from Roca came and inspected the jacuzzi bath in our apartment (and all the other apts).After checking it out he gave us a signed form to the effect that the 2 year guarantee was now in place, only backdating the guarantee 1 month, so effectively we are guaranteed up until august 2013. This is in effect a guarantee for almost 4 years from first use, while I appreciate that it is seldom used and he probably knew that it was still a nice touch.

I love the name ' Leroy Merlin' its great, almost as good as ' Norbert Dentresangle' the french haulage firm, how cool is that :D

Yes but I did not want to brag because you do actually appreicate the wife is ALWAYS right and that rings wonderfuly in my ears. So remember when the wife says that wine in the carton is RUBBISH and her sister would not want to drink it, better believe it! :lol: :lol: :lol:

NO!!!! My posh sister-in-law actually LIKES the 1 euro 35 wine!!! In fact she took some home with her.
Paddy, my brother -in-law was horrified....he doesnt think anything less double figures a bottle is drinkable!!!

Double figures no need for that unless you are talking 99c :lol: :lol: :lol: I would say €2 is usually about right and you even get a bottle and cork thrown in. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
