Quite right, all getting very silly and tiresome. And with the Olympix and English soccer season starting about now, all we'll get on this forum is sport, and more sport. Bring the forum back to the people of CVO for what it was intended for. Otherwise I'm leaving - will the last person please turn off the lights.

Dont quite understand what you mean 'leaving the forum' when you say " bring the forum back to the people of CVO?
We are all people of CVO here..whether in residence or abroad..we are all members of this little (no not little..622?)community..
and we all have a say in it.
Okay.Youve just had your say...you dont like innuendo..fair enough..but life not only here..but in general would be very dull indeed without any.
Dont just sit there saying your bored with it.do something positive...

and going back on this topic. Only having visited cvo a few times I dont know many of the bars,clubs. What is roughly the age-group of the 'Jailhouse'.Is it mostly youngsters?
At 37 would I be considered too old ?

Tabbi at 37, you would not be too old for the Jailhouse. When we first went to CVO about 11years ago, the Jailhouse was called "Whispers" Bobby and Roger were the resident Band playing there. The next year that we went Dave(Bobby) and Karen had taken over and trying to make a go of it. It was really good fun the first few years,we still go back but must admit the sparks worn a bit thin for me. But the people are still great, so what if I've heard the songs and jokes before,there are also a lot of newcomers who havn't, who clearly enjoy themselfs.

First night at the Jailhouse and I thought........ 'yeah, this is gonna be fun coming up here regular'.
Two nights later............. same songs, same jokes, matter of fact it could have been the same shirt.
Third night.......... Oh Jeeeeeeeeez! not again.
I know (as stated earlier) that different people frequenting at different times haven't heard them, but come off it............... I was only there for two weeks too.
