WiFi Hotspots in the village

Can anyone tell me please if there are any free WiFi hotspots in the centre of Carvoeiro as there are in Lagoa, Silves etc?

There are several bars which offer free wifi to customers - Irish times, Hemmingways etc etc just need to buy a pint! but there isnt a free public service!

If you use your mobile phone instead of a laptop there's plenty of 'free' wi-fi to be had after a small, initial outlay. For the price of a drink or snack you can make use of free wi-fi all over the village. All you need to do is make sure your mobile isn't on Roaming, and then set up the wi-fi addresses, saving them. Then, as you walk around the village your mobile will pick up the nearest, strongest wi-fi signal and download all your emails and FaceBook alerts!

All the bar/restaurant owners in CVO who provide free WiFi in the village are quite entitled to password protect their connection to ensure that only patrons of their businesses access the services they provide free of charge!

If we don't support the businesses in the village then ultimately we have no village, ergo nowhere to access free WiFi!

I don't think anyone is arguing with that CK. Half the fun of hotspots is the excuse to have a beer The original question is where are the hotspots, do you know of some more?

To be honest , no I couldn't add to the number of fine establishments already mentioned on this site who provide free WiFi. Notwithstanding that, thank you for highlighting those businesses who provide this service and continue to improve our village as a tourist centre and an ex-pat location, including Man City fans ( you know who you are!).

Hello everyone, I've been about a week in the Casa Palmeira Restaurant next to the market, near the village Monte Dourado, a very good restaurant food is very good, especially the seafood rice, cataplana, and grill chicken. I recommend everyone to try and have free WiFi connection.

If you are up the hill Cafe Fino have free wi-fi and great for lunchtime snacks. (Opposite the Black Stove Pub.) When I asked the question last year I was also told that the Sports bar in Monte Carvoeiro has wi-fi and very very cheap beer and food.
