Big Day Tomorrow
Big Day Tomorrow
I'm running the Algarve Marathon on Sunday www.justgiving.com/algarveangus
Astounded at how little publicity there is for this event and how little local interest there appears to be. There were no signs or posters in and around Faro, none of the locals I asked knew anything about it or the whereabouts of Esatdio Municipal de Faro where I had to register. I guess running events are not as popular as they are in the UK. I did a 10k in Edinburgh last week - several thousand runners. Appear to be only about 200 taking part in tomorrows 26.2 mile event. Hope it aint as hot as it was today

The best of luck Angus. If you were an actor I would say "break a leg" but not when you are running a marathon!
Hope all goes well!

Re: Big Day Tomorrow
Congratulations, Angus.
I have read your blog. Despite soaring temperatures, a gruelling long run in the blinding sunshine ,and being tanned like a frazzle, you are all smiles, and take in your stride! Steve Austin has nothing on you!
Well done for a very important worthwhile cause!
