Gas BBq prices
Gas BBq prices
can anyone give me an idea of the cost of a gas BBQ. want something smallish. The one at home is more the size of a large kettle with a side burner. I'm not worried about the side burner however. What is the average cost for a gas cylinder in the first instance and then the refill? I'll have to buy a regulator also. I am tempted T buying a sale priced BBQ here. (not the cylinder of course). I cannot see anything much on the web sites for IZI or Leroy Merlins. Wherelse would you suggest? Thanks
Re: Gas BBq prices
Leroy Merlin have a fair selection ranging in price from €200 to €2000. I recognise the one I bought in John Lewis for £350.00 but at Leroy it's €540. If you're shipping stuff anyway buy your BBQ in UK - more choice better price.

Re: Gas BBq prices
Buy one in Argos end of summer clearance and ship it out. Prices way below most here, although they have got cheaper here in the last couple of years.

Re: Gas BBq prices
Our ALDI had some gas ones at less than £40.
Re: Gas BBq prices
Bought my full range canadian Sterling BBQ from zonda end of summer sale last year, brilliant deal and a Canadian came out to deliver and fit it. Probably didn't come all the way from Canada just for me though
Re: Gas BBq prices
Thanks for that. I went to our local MAKRO. Fatal really as I saw our outback BBQ for. £50, albeit this version does not have the side burner. Got a cover as well and therefore with VAT and the regulator it was £65. I know looking on other web sites the cheapest I could find include delivery for just the BBQ was twice that and I still would have needed the cover. I know many have the built in BBQ in CVO but we have not so was keen to have a mid range BBQ. Some are still crazy sale prices close to a grand, bit rich for us. We will have to get the gas cylinder in CVO.
I do not want the biggest cylinder of gas. Where would you suggest is best to purchase?
