For ..Bica....Yes I've tried speeding up to even more dangerous speeds (Illegal) but they just love it more ..allows them to really swing out like Jenson Button.....and as for 'Drifting' off the road ....are you serious...I thinks you better go back to driving school......NO I think I will just do as always....I hold my ground , keep to the legal speed limit , and mentally prepare to get out of the way should they hit the oncoming car........
And in case you think I'm an old fuddy Duddy.driving along at poodle doodle speeds.......I've taken a couple of my Portuguese friends who drive like maniacs to a Track Day ..in Spain....and we just laugh at them as they spin off almost on every corner and can never understand why we leave them standing...I try to explain what safe and fast )Track) driving is about....NO they cant accept that and blame everything (Car/Engine Etc) except themselves...Sorry my dear Portuguese friends....you are on the whole the worst drivers I have ever met....

Our children are grown up, but of several different dutch families living here I heard that the international school is not so good. They have their children in a portuguese school and are very happy with it.

Could the guest with the details of the school at Lagoa also please email me with details?

I was thinking of sending my kids to a Portuguese school but I will have to consider everything really, so any info would be gratefully received.

Thanks :)

Moderators keep the forum in line so to speak by removing postings that might be considererd offensive. Doesn't happen on here very often. They, as a rule do a good job but still retain a sense of humour (I think). They also mix with the locals and get slightly toxic like the rest of us on regular occasions.

Thanks for the info on Moderators.....Thats fine....I must admit I tend to get a bit Off the subject at times and even like to 'Wind up' at times (Especially Ellie...cause she seems full of ....Em....Em....well she is probably a charming (Misguided) lady !! ??) ...ref the Lagoa School ....I will contact the family I mentioned that have a very lovely (Polite and well mannered ...rare nowdays.. daughter that attends this school and advise tomorrow...standby one..........

Im full of ..Em..Em..guest?
Have you got a cough or is that a polite way of saying crap? :x
we are certainly getting them on here lately....
rude..arrogant..pompous....hurtful....all under title of 'guest' (except td..at least he has the courage to put his name!)
whether Im 'charming' or not I wouldnt have a clue..and wouldnt lose any sleep over....
But keeping to the topic.. I will say this...those who come here to slight others,by being rude and offensive could certainly do with a big dose of 'Charm school'
