Absolutly not , under no conditions.
Even though many try.

Actually according to the rules if you are playing in a foursomes event then you are allowed to share clubs with your partner so long as you don't exceed 14 clubs. But who wants to play foursomes?
Re: Sharring golf clubs
There is no course on the Algarve that we know of that allows this and all but a handfull in the UK.
Sounds like someone is too tight to hire clubs.

Re: Sharring golf clubs
I thought you couldnt. we were at VDM golf with a what we thought was a four ball behind us but only 2 were playing when we were out of site of the clubhouse all 4 started playing with just 2 bags, suddenly a marshal appered and asked for there green fee receipt, we could not hear the conversation but they finnised the hole they were playing and left for the clubhouse, not finishing the last 6 holes.
When we got in after our game we asked the recptionist what happened, she told us that theyhad only payed for 2 as they wanted to share the 2 bags between them and she informed them that this was not aloud ( BIg sign also stating no sharing of clubs or bags outside and inside) so the older gentlemen said fine only 2 would play also the older gentlemen of the group said that he had played golf for 30 years and this was ridiculas not being aload to share clubs.
Anyway they must of felt so embaressed as they left, good roll modelo showing the younger members of his group that it is allright to cheet and steel.
Why do people take this piss so? sure they wouldnt try it back home.

Re: Sharring golf clubs
You can at VDM share if there are two of you and one has enough clubs to share in his bag, then you need to hire a bag from the clubhouse for a couple of euro's and you can do this rather than hire a full expensive set, it's very much cheaper. Everyone who plays must have a bag, that's the criteria, and that's why the offenders were pulled! they were bagless........... and by that I don't mean they didn't have their Judy with them
