Supermarket opening times

We are arriving into Carvoeiro at approx. 10.30pm via an airport shuttle. We would like to get a few essentials for overnight, will there be anywhere open to get water etc.

Unlikely.

If the shuttle is a private one just for your group I would suggest getting the driver to stop at one of the motorway service areas as they tend to have a mini-market where you should be able to get some basics.

We've got people coming in late to our apartment so I offered to get them any provisions they might want or need, we provide water for initial use anyway. They just asked for some milk, rolls, cheese, etc., they're bringing their own tea & coffee. Is there nobody that will do the same for you? A lot of owner's/managers offer a welcome pack of essentials on request.
