Entertainment in the Square?

We are arriving on Thursday for our first ever visit to the Algarve. Seems like we have made a good choice in Carvoeiro! Have found information on this site very useful. Entertainment in the Square of Carvoeiro has been mentioned.. is this a feature this year?? If so, what sort of thing can we expect? Can't wait to be there and to escape the truly awful rainy weather we are having in London at the moment!

Live Music in the square every night, large poster in the square gives all the details. Plus Saturday 23rd July is a special Algarvean night with traditional music, and Saturday 12th August there is a Beach Party,

That is because it is my birthday - the beach party I mean.....

If you take a peek at the Carvoeiro webcams - the one showing the beach reveals a stage set up on the beach close to the wall - I presume that's where it all takes place.
