some changes this year, not so much street entertainment, there is now show at 10.30pm in the castle (4euros)

one bar owner has heard because of the crise this will be the last fayre (unles they make loads of cash from the show at the castle

Pingo Doce are in negociations about sponsoring the event next year so i have been told,watch this space...............

I do hope so as this is a wonderful event, unfortunately last year and this we have come out for our 3 weeks after the event so have missed it. I would recommend anyone to go tho' it is brilliant.

We went last night & took our friends it was brilliant, more stalls than last year, lots of music & different things to watch. We arrived about 7pm & left at about 10.45pm, there were cars pouring down the hill to the bridge bumper to bumper as we left. Very hot though & calcada very slippery so choose your footwear carefully if you're going.

Friends & clients leave today, more arrive tomorrow. Roll on the end of August.
