My Daughter went....with 5 friends ..and they were the only ones there more or less...a very beautiful young lady walks around Carvoeiro giving out free tickets to anybody...even me and Im 60 !!!...(Thats about as close as I'm likely to get to a beautiful young lady nowdays ..Blah...) Anyway my Daughter told me the 'Bouncers' there are very rude and they would never go back...she took off her shoes to dance and the Bouncer screamed at her .(Swore) and then kicked her shoes under a table telling her to crawl under the table and put them on again.....Maybe go to another place I thinks ...

Haven't been this year, but last year it was indeed free entry with a ticket that was given out in the street. It did however cost us over 30 euro for 3 drinks, and I had my doubts about the quality of the alcohol. Combined with the fact that the place was empty, we left asap. On the way out, we too encountered brain dead bouncers who tried to tell us that it would soon be packed, and we would do well to stay inside

About Bouncers: they aren not like that in any club..
There is a difference. I used to work as one in Amsterdam back when I was still a student and there is a difference.

A friend of mine is a bouncer at Babylon in praia da rocha, he is not like the story described here as well

About het Bote: During the end of the 80's and the beginning of the 90's that place rocked. People fromn all over came to visit this place
In CVO everybody first went to restaurante Teodoro's for the happy hour (it was located next to the GNR) and afterwords everybody went to bote

Now if you went to go out you shuold go to Praia da Rocha or Albufeira.
Depends on what you are looking for, but the bote that's over for a longtime.. The foam party is probably the only thing that keeps them in bussiness and the fact that it's the only place in CVO where you can get a drink in that time of the morning

well after deciding i was having a quieter holiday this year i still ended up bouncing out of the Bote at 5.30 on two occasions! 8) It was much quieter than normal though and there was plenty of room to dance and stuff. There was no entry charge and the drinks cost us 24 euros for 2 x g&t and 2x V&T- not too bad when you think of the size of the measures. At the other end of the scale-- we went over to mestromarco (the one beside Pricecheck) and after shopping stopped at the coffee bar there and had 2 beers and a coffee and it only cost us 2 euros 10 !
