DVBRO - thanks for the support - only 3 sleeps before I get back to U.K. for another tattoo

HampshireRich - no use - I'll be back in good old blighty

Gaynor - I'll be back for your visit so you can come and tell me how many sleeps

Enjoy the heat (sweaty armpits), the sun (sore backs and peeling noses), the ice-cold fizzy beer (indigestion), the cheap red wine (ooh my head in the morning !!), bbqing your sardines (oh god my fingers still smell the following morning !), the airport hassle etc. all you masochists.

I will be thinking of you while slaving away in Boots Opticians to earn enough to continue living here for another year

P.S. my wife thinks I am a sad case

The Clampetts are heading for Plymouth on Sunday, complete with dog, to catch the afternoon ferry to Santander. Expect to see us rolling into town in the early hours of Tuesday morning! Might stop off for a beer at Big Wills en-route to ADM
