Solid metal gates
Solid metal gates
Whilst out walking I saw a very modern dark grey solid metal gate and would love to know where I can find such a gate. Our build is quite modern and a wrought iron gate would not be in keeping on the drive way. Equally I do not like the totally plain metal gates which are a Little reminiscent of a builders fence. No offence to those who do like them.
The gate in question has a rough texture with panels either rectangle or square making a random pattern. It is in a cul de sac near the 5 aside junior association club. Travelling out ofGramacho right as you get to the 2nd bend there is a road. The first right turn takes you to the football stadium so ignore. This property is in a cul de sac further along, number 9 in steel outside. Also just before there is a very ornate black and gold gate with matching laterns on the pillars.
Yes as usual I am totally mad, but maybe the grey gate is yours or your friends gate. Where can I get something like this?THANKS

Thanks for that. I have seen them advertised. I think there is someone on the forum that knows these exact gates, possibly because they lived there before. LICYlogicbob wrote:Licy, take a picture of one that you like and take it to GFS Metalworks and they will make it for you.

Re: Solid metal gates
We just had Andrew of GFS fit our new gates, and cant speak too highly of him, and his work.
We had 2 sets of double gates, done in a fairly modern design, designed to copy the roof line of the front of our villa.....cost, something under 2000 euros.
I can e-mail you a picture if you like

Yes please. I assume they are electric. Got the photo yesterday. Forgot the name of the road, but recall it is 3 words and recognized by Pickwick as a property he remembered. sent a message to another member as he knows the. Neighbour.
