Isn´t everything in the village always for sale? I´m not sure it means anything if the place is for sale or not, as I say, everything here is always on the market on the off chance someone will come along and pay over the odds for it (and they usually do! )

We've had some really good meals here & the service has always been very good if a little slow when it comes to bringing the bill when asked, but as soon as you starting heading for the door they bring it quick enough. We tend to use it as a winter restaurant preferring to eat outside in the summer, always quite busy when we go but never feels overcrowded as some of the other restaurants do.

We also eat here every time we stay in CVO which is virtually every month. The Suckling pig is fantastic but make sure you book it the day before! Also love Casa do Pao on the other side of the out road, the fish is fab.

Looks like they are putting live music on New Years Eve, good for them, haven't seen anyone else advertising it.

A Vela is really good value for money. The owner is lovely and friendly making a big effort to get to know her customers. The food is excellent and you are not rushed at any point. More people should try it. We will definitely be back when we come to Cvo again in August. Keep up the great standard :D
