Had a quick dip and couldn't believe how warm it is

Is the beach quite safe? i fancy a little paddle but im not a very good swimmer

From what we have heard on the local radio and read in the papers we are lucky if the sea temp gets much above 23 degrees and that is at the end of summer.

It also depends which way the wind is blowing, can,t remember which is worst the SW or SE, one brings in cooler water.

Too cold for us we stick to the pool can reach 28degrees or more without heating.

It is due to the wind direction. When he wind changes it will be back to normal

Sometimes I find it too warm and have to stand under a cold shower to cool down
