Phil Jones is on the back page of today's Mirror. As usual, it all depends on what paper you read. He has a £16m release clause and Liverpool, City and Arsenal are all interested. Fergie sees him as the long term replacement for Rio. What about Smalling? I think he looks good for the future.
1) Modric - I guess if we don't get Sneijder then Modric could happen. I've heard they have not given up on Sneijder but I know Hiddinck wants him at Chelsea. Would Spurs let Modirc go!!
2) Nasri - this came about because when asked by a cheeky journalist if he would sign for United Nasri said "he would consider it". As far as I know Utd have not shown any interest.
3) Reina - I don't think Liverpool would ever sell him to Utd. Plus I believe he is happy again now with King Kenny as manager.
4) Sanchez - My soruces (ha ha) say Utd have offered £25m for him but Udinese want £30m. Looks a class act.
5) Nani - yes, the rumours are true and I personally believe he will go. I think Fergie sees him as too inconsistent and with Valencia back from injury he may "cash is" on the back of a very good season. Plus, why else is Fergie looking at so many wingers?
Giggs, Rooney or Rio in CVO!! Who knows? But I wouldn't want my wife to "bump" into Giggsy!!!

On a more disturbing note, I've heard a rumour that Nani will be out of there soon - Real Madrid being mentioned - do you know anything about that one?
Talking about football (& not wanting to name drop!!!) - we were at the Faro Airport a few years ago, and bumped into (literally!!) a certain Mr Steve Bruce - he wasnt as big then!!!!! - so you never know, you may pop into a Smilers or Bradys etc & find yourself sat next to Giggsy or Wazza or Rio!!!!!!!
And you think Giggs missus will let him out of her sight again...Smilers or no Smilers
