I came back on a Monarch flight from Gatwick yesterday morning - packed to the gunnels.

We arrived at midday - the same time as 9 other flights - the place was packed. Now I don't suppose for one minute they were all coming to Cvo - but it was good to see the crowds. I realise it is Half-term but they could have gone elsewhere :D :D :D

Out in the village last night, looks as though lots of them did come to Carvoeiro, nicely busy.Booked for the Indian, good thing as people waiting when we left.

Lovely sitting out for an after dinner watching the world go by :) even better got home before the unexpected thunderstorm :D

Been in CVO since 3rd may and came back yesterday - it was quite busy and all our local restaurants said it has been good so far this year. The flt coming in was packed out so looks like its going to be a busy spring holiday!

We were out at the weekend, and I thought it was quiet as well, although the weather didn't help much! That was a hell of a thunderstorm on Friday night

I think how busy Carvoeiro is should be measured by the number of people walking in the road. If this past week was anything to go by, it's thriving!

went out last night around 10pm. everywhere busy but nowhere packed (except the roundup - where they were out on the street looking in) plenty of music, at the square there was a singer and he certainly was entertaining, in mungos, in carvoeiro bar, in the black stove and of course roundup. settled in mungos. really enjoyed it. two guys, one seriously good on guitar. said they would be back next wednesday, but i'll be back home by then, only a flying visit this time
