Monte Carvoeiro is hilly to get to, but when we brought my mother-in-law 2 years ago she had a bad hip and we just used taxis to get from the bottom - she was OK walking down. MCVO has limted sea-views - a few do have very good views but on the whole it is limited - but a good resort to go and flat when you are there.
