May Day

Post by MaisieK »

We shall be arriving on Sunday early in the morning and I have realised it is May Day
which will be a Bank Holiday in Portugal, can anyone tell me if Pingo Doce is likely to
be open as I shall need to get a few bits and pieces. I have a feeling that lots of places
will be closed. Many thanks for any information.

Many thanks Sunman, we were caught out once in France on May Day when everything
was closed.

Many thanks, we shall survive then, weather looks grim for the weekend, heavy
rain Sunday and Monday if the forecast is correct but at least we havn`t got to
battle with tolls at the moment!!! I hope the Bay of Biscay will be gentle on your
return next week Bruce.
