the same cleaning-lady has been offered a job in a restaurant in Carvoeiro. They are wiling to pay: 3,20 euro an hour.

In my profession I would not get out of bed for 3 or 5 euros an hour!
Even though it means "resting" :)

I do agree with Tabitha that it is really little earning. With a full schedule these people make about 400 euro's a month....... that is really little!

At the current exchange rate.....5 Euros per hour is 1.34 Euros per hour HIGHER than the minimim wage in the USA.

But most actors are out of work most of the time,so often have to do other work.Any work. Waitressing-bar work-cleaning.
