New taxi rank

Looking at the view from Camera 2 it looks as though the taxi rank
has a new home. Is this going to be permanent or are they doing something to
the old one?

There were diggers working in the taxi rank area this morning.....so only temp.

I think they were planning to remove the palm trees, so perhaps that is what they are doing.

Just looked at webcam 1 - yep, some of the palm tres are gone.

They have removed 2 of the palm tree's one of which had a small poster on it the other day saying "this is the leaning palm tree of Carvoeiro" anyway they have been replaced by 3 other type of tree.

Apparently the machine removing them broke down half way through removing this one - leaving it leaning. People named it "the leaning palm tree of Carvoeiro" and were having their photos taken by it
