SNAIL FARM
i saw an interesting prog today about a couple who set up a snail farm in spain....which reminds me of when i applied for my snail farmers licence in silves..it was to be known by its tiltle the Silves Snail Suppository
....anyway I went along to Silves Camara with my 15 application form 345 evx and 23 copies (notorised of course) and some snails in a box to show the officials what i had in mind...
...sadly during the interview with Silves camara officials my snails escaped....although the camara officials tried to catch them the snails were too fast for them...so i left with dreams in tatters

Snails
I saw the programme guest. Did you see the episode where he was told the way to tell a snails strengh is to squeeze its shell as hard as possible,if it was a strong healthy snail its shell would not break.Fortunately the Guy being a bit on the large side, didnt trust his own strengh, and refused..........Is that really what they do?

what do snails taste like? As a young girl my dad used to bring home periwinkles, once they were cooked,we'd sit with a pin and manover the small creature from its shell and eat them (cant remember what they taste like, but we ate plenty!) Thinking about it now, its was revolting they looked like something that should be in your hankerchief!
