Regarding the Round up Joanne, is it open yet? I believe there has been some work going on and was wondering if it finished? If not open, do you know when it will be? Thanks

Just retrned after a week in CVO, visited Happy's and once gain the food and service was excellent. Lots having the massive fish & chips (always looks great) but chose the Algarvian Cod, absolutely gorgeous :D

Went to Happys 3 times in our recent 3 week trip and enjoyed the whole experience every time. Large fish & chips, rabbit casserole, and spare ribs all excellent. Libbe on usual form putting the world to rights, but we nonplussed him by showing him a review on a mobile phone which described him as "a saucy man". We had to explain to him that this meant he was "cheeky" but not sure he understood that either. We went there last Saturday, and for the first time since we have been going to CVO, about 15 years, it was less than half full, I think about 14 people, and none came in later. If Happys is not full on a Saturday night then the restaurants in CVO are certainly struggling. The town was almost devoid of people in the evenings and not many around during the day either.
