Similarly, can anyone recommend any shops for new baby equipment ?
I believe the shop in the Algarve Shopping Retail Park has now closed ?

Thanks Ernie.
We are aware of that, but typically have found the range to be at the lower end of the price/quality scale.
Is this fair ? Do any of the big supermarkets fare better than others in this dept. ?

There was a lot on sale yesterday at the Lagoa boot sale. ( some very good quality) It is held every 4th Sunday of the month at the fatacil. The most sellers I have ever seen there yesterday, people of all nationalities trying to make a bit of spare cash from unwanted items. There maybe fewer sellers at next month's Boot sale as the Camara have caught on to its popularity and are going to start charging

Re: Looking for baby equipment
Managed to answer my own question, and found Pre Na Tal in the centre of Portimao.
Quite a wide range of equipment, and very helpful staff, but prices are heading up the slope not down.
Website is in Portuguese unless you're using Google Chrome as your standard browser, in which case the website is in your home language.

My daughter is moving away from the Algarve and has some very new babystuff - what are you looking for, her daughter is 10 months but she is moving to Dubai and it will cost too much to ship it.
