Building Work

We are planning to have some building work done. We have had APM Services recommended. Has anyone had any good or not so good experiences with them?

hi Minty, I don't know of APM but in any case would suggest getting a few recommendations and then at least 3 quotes, the disparity can be quite large; then go to see some of the previous work,

Any tips or recommendations on building works are always welcome. I am particularly interested in what form of contract you enter into with a builder eg. fixed price, fixed completion dates, penalty clauses etc.

Getting several quotes seems very sensible providing they are supplied by reputable builders who have the expertise to do the job, hence back to the original question, can anyone recommend a good builder?
