help required re: alarm companies charges

just trying to get an idea of what different companies charge for the service that includes call out when the alarm goes off.
any people out there that can give me an idea of what they are paying as i think im paying too much&i am about to contact my alarm company to ask them for a discount&could do with an idea of what other people are being charged&by what companies in case i need to change companies.all part of my cost cutting exercise just to the economic situation.just about to change phone&internet providers from sapo pt to world telecom in order to save money.

Annual service charge from Prosecom €464. Never had a call out charge cos they ring you by phone if you accidentally set off the alarm. Includes annual check up & testing the alarm system.

thanks widge ,i was beginninng to think that nobody had alarm systems !!!i pay 140 euros per month all in & that includes all call outs etc & they respond by going to the property to any alarm activations within 10 mins but it does seem as though i am paying way over the odds as it = 1680 per year !! i am going to ring round for quotes.do you have a contact number for your alarm provider please ?

Tel. 289351400 is the 24 hour service centre number on my alarm control. I'm sure they can put you in touch with the sales department. Sounds like you're about to save yourself €1000.00 I'll let you have my number as well just in case you want to buy me a drink !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prosecom no longer exist - bought out by Charon. Securitas are doing some good deals right now. Call Pedro manger in Portimão on 919 726 605. They are re-doing our office alarm.
