Nightlife in November

5 blokes in their 30s staying near Cvo for long weekend beginning of Nov. Lokking for info on nightlife. Will there be much happening in CVO? How about Lagos or Villamoura? A bit further away I know but willing to get cab elsewhere if CVO pretty quiet. All advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

doubt you will find anything resembling nightlife in Cvo. The bars will mainly be open but they will all be quiet at this time of year. Albulfeira will have more going on, but nothing is really that busy in November.

Your best bet in CVO is probably Mungo's seems to be the liveliest, Lagos will be quiet don't know about Vilamoura but the strip at Albufeira should still be the liveliest depending on what you're looking for & Albufeira Old Town still seems busy, they're nearer than Vilamoura. CVO not really a hotspot for nightlife at any time of the year, known more as a family resort & for golfers with dodgey taste in sweaters .

Pria da Rocha is closer than Albufeira and would have more life than CVO, it does have a casino.

My son (27) & his mates went to Praia da Rocha a couple of times in the summer when they stayed in Carvoeiro but they didn't think there was much going on there (not interested in Casinos, thank God), they got cabs to Albufeira when they wanted a bit more life than CVO had to offer. But usually they were happy with the bars & restaurants in Carvoeiro, they do more than enough clubbing in the UK.

Cheers guys. Think we may give Albufeira and Villamoura a try. Any idea the price of cabs? What time Mungos open until on a Thurs?

A cab to Vilamoura won't be far off the price of a cab to Faro I would have thought. But split between a few of you won't be too bad.
