Tax free pensions !!

I have just heard (fingers crossed) that Portugal intend to allow hard working eurocrats to retire there on tax free pensions. Maybe Ellie has been right all along and there is a God . When you think about it, it makes a lot of sense, well it does to me anyway. Long live Europe Now do I live on the West side or East side of the village EMM or Bruce

UK Civil Service and military pensions are currently not taxed in Portugal but unfortunately they are taxed at source in the UK and there is no way of avoiding this. Providing I could afford it I would always choose the East.
