Your point would have more validity if the car was being sold in the UK but it is not.

The market price in Portugal is just that. Expensve as it obviously is.

The car is obviously an import based on it's reg no. This was matriculated late 2006.

Currently you can buy an identical model with lower mileage for 14,000euros in Germany and from a main MB dealer together with a warranty. The cost to bring to Portugal and have it matriculated about 10,000 euros.

Total 24,000euros.

Probably the Northern Portuguese guy did the same thing and is looking to make a silly profit, or he has something to do with this.

From Loulehandyman[quote]A cousin of mine owns a scrap yard, buys foreign or Portuguese reg scrap cars, good cars, jeeps, vans, motorcycles, boats, motor-homes, trailers etc, runners, non runners, accident damaged, impounded by police, with or without docs. Pays CASH on the spot. Their dismantled for parts and the car-body is crushed. 962484215 - scrapcarsfaro@gmail.com/quote]

Whatever it is worth, you would think he would give it a bit of a clean if he is looking for that sort of money

I'm happy to be among so many experts, experts, maybe, on other subjects, but cars, sorry! I would like to know how you came up with €10000 to matriculate this 2002 MERC in Portugal. Show me the math! I will show you the official numbers straight after.

The owner of this ML 400 AMG says, if anyone can find a cheaper one anywhere in Portugal, he will beat the price by €1000.

I was looking in the UK car Market for this specific model and can't seem to find it for sale, you say yours is precisely the same one? Bought at an auction? Are you sure?

Ignorant is not the individual who knows very little, ignorant is the one who thinks he knows a lot, even worst is the individual who talks a lot but says nothing! (written as down to earth as possible)

What I would like to know, is why have you suddenly joined this forum when all you have done from day one is try to sell second hand cars, bikes etc and advertise a scrap business, and then become abusive when you don't like the responses.
If that's your only purpose on here, then contact Steen to make yourself an official business advertiser.

By the way, are you Arthur Daly reincarnated and living in Loule.
