Strange smell in the air

I still believe that it has got something to do with the treatment plant.

Can you smell it on the Lagoa side ?? usually upwind.

There is nothing else in the area of the treatment plant.

EMM, it's actually across the road from the water treatment plant.

I can't say I've noticed a sweetish smell in the area, more like a nasty whiff of drains every so often

The drains smell is always occuring along the out rd - fortunately never too excessive, but it certainly isnt the sweetish smoke smell we get up Solferias hill. It can often be detected, particualrly in the morning, but it's not always there, so it must drift in on the wind - from somewhere??

Hmm - cant see any of the aromatic spices being it - however I wouldnt know a nutmeg tree if I saw it, let alone what it smelt like - if someone's got one let me know and I'll have a sniff!

Both our pool cleaner and local txi driver are sure that it is nutmeg that is causing the smell. Both knew of the thread on the forum and found it funny that we did not know that it was noz moscada!!!

Where are all these nutmeg trees, there must be alot of them considering how large is the area where the smell occurs ?
