It is very good! Just look at the reviews on the 'Poll' for Oasis in the restaurant reviews.

I am afraid it has been going downhill over the past couple of years, each time we have been (not very often anymore) we have not really enjoyed the mean or had slow service.

I don't know if it still is but I had a feeling it was up for sale.

Please see my comment under 'Any advice please' - Saturday night was well up to standard - an excellent meal.

I would suggest the bitter 'abs9rz' comments be ignored.

Not sure I totally agree with ignorning "bitter abs9rz" comments! You might be right thinking it is someone with a vendetta against Oasis, however I read the review and thought it was a well written review on extremely poor service and food! Not everyone is going to be blessed with the same restaurant experience you have had Roy! 8) I would say read all reviews but make up your own mind by visiting at least once!

I agree with Sharon's comments. In my experience Oasis has been OK but nothing special but I have not been there for some considerable time. Is it not likely that Roy as a well known local resident whose wife used to write the newsletter is going to get a slightly better break in local establishments than an anonymous and obvious holiday visitor?

I suspect the poster was pretty pissed off to post it so many times! In the meantime I am giving them the benefit of the doubt!

Regarding the above comments, the "anonymous and obvious holidaymakers" around us got equal service and all seemed perfectly happy at 'a conta' time
