Sunday morning shopping?

Hi again we will be arriving in Faro on sunday the 10th of October 2010 and will be driving to Carveiro at around 10am, and need to do a shop enroute if possible. Will supermarkets be open at that time what would be our best option? thanks

You should find all the supermarkets open, Intermarche, Pinge Doce and Pau a sucar, plus the big Continente at Portimao.

Note the large supermarkets may be closing at 1.00pm as the summer hours could have ended.

Hi there,There are no longer summer or winter opening hours for supermarkets or hypermarkets, this was overturned last year buy the current goverment, all establishments can open all day if they wish. 99% do stay open till 20.30 or 21.00.

But Iam sure someone else wil think they no better.
