Re: Cliffs in Carvoeiro
Whatever you do don't sit under any overhanging rocks..when we lived out there a man was killed by doing that! The cliffs crumbled onto him
Remember those cliffs are made of sandstone and can be dangerous!

They were my thoughts exactly when I read the article, but as Mark said if you are looking out to sea then it would be the West side!bugsey wrote:Which is correct the west side of the beach (in the article) or the picture which is the east side of the beach?
I believe they are actually talking about the East side of the beach as we know Phillipa and she lives on the East side.

Jan you have been sampling the house wine again.
It doesn't matter whether you are looking out to sea or in from the sea they are still the East cliffs.
If you are looking out it is the left-hand side or from a boat the right-hand side

Roy, if you re-read Jan's post, she noted that it was Mark who suggested that West is on the left when looking out to sea.roy4eyes wrote:Jan you have been sampling the house wine again.

Methinks she was having a sly dig at him, or maybe all men - given that Roy fell for it

What can I say - Men - not only do they have selective hearing but now I find out they have selective reading as welle-richard wrote:Roy, if you re-read Jan's post, she noted that it was Mark who suggested that West is on the left when looking out to sea.roy4eyes wrote:Jan you have been sampling the house wine again.
