Driving to Lisbon on the motorway.... and beyond!

I am planning to drive up to Lagares, Oliveira Do Hospital from Lagoa going on the motorway, can anyone tell me how much the tolls would be???

It's three years since we did it, but I seem to remember that it was €19 each way to Lisbon. It may have gone up now.

When I drove down from just above Lisbon to the A22 in April the toll was 27 Euros.

Why not try the old road ? Much better nowadays, more scenic, probably only 20 minutes longer allowing for toll stops and FREE.

You'll probably want to take diversions, and more stops

Roy, what roads would you recommend then? I have my TomTom with me and have just gone from the route it gave me...... would be interested in using some of the more scenic routes on the way back.......

From the airport E01 to IP1 to IC1 to IC4 (A22). Toll of €5.35 for the Vasco da Gama bridge.

Motorway route toll is € 27.

Apart from the bridge simply programme your TomTom 'no toll roads'
