solar electricity

Post by ks »

I am thinking of installing solar electric panels. Has any one used the EDP scheme for selling units of electricity generated by solar panels back to the EDP. I understand the scheme is closed at present but is due to open again in September.

This was mentioned by a friend in Monte Dourado earlier in the year - their neighbour does it - she complained that all she got back was €12 after thay had deducted various processing fees and it didnt seem worth it to sell it back, but she did obviously benefit from very low bills.
