Bistro

Post by joanne »

The new Bistro on the out Road is really nice for a reasonably priced night out, 4 of us had a lovely meal with water and wine for under 60 Euros, the owners are a really nice couple and are really trying to make a go of it so if you passing pop in for a drink or even a snack, we out next week with 6 girls so will def be going again. Good luck to them,

The Place is called Bistro 72 and the new owners have done a fabulous job on the refurbishment and decoration of the bar it looks great, hope it all works out for them. The Gentelman who is one of the owners is an artist and modern sculptre and he made a lot of the fittings himself , the very funky light fitting on the outsidde of the building is his work and it looks excellent.

I've never been in, but I think it's mostly because the blue lighting puts me off. It kind of reminds me of a hospital :?

Actually I walked past yesterday (during the day) and it seems like the décor has changed. I know it's also popular for its late-night giant toasties! May give it a go

The Bistro will open on Saturday, 5th of March. Wish them good luck as people tend to stay rather in the center where they can pick some sunshine whilst having a coffee or snack in day time.
