Been barred from there so I can't read it! Is it a Mazza-type company?EMM wrote:Interesting thread about this company on expatsportugal.

Re: KBS Property Investments
It is one of those who " invite " potential buyers on" " free inspection trips and then adopt high pressure sales techniques.
Backfired on them in this case.

Re: KBS Property Investments
I haven't been banned from Expats so I have just read it.
It is a pity that, despite all the warning signs, people still get suckered into these deals. I applaud the poster in Expats for standing his ground and not giving in to their demands. Shame it ended up costing him money in hotel bills and flights for the "free" inspection!
What a rip off!

Re: KBS Property Investments
I was banned for standing up for a friend when he was wrongly barred for having multiple usernames - when he'd only ever posted under one username. So far, neither of us have been reinstated - but the person who had several usernames and often answered her own posts (she started it all), is back on and back to posting absolute nonsense . . . for which she is well known.loonytoon wrote:....what did you do (or shouldn't i ask)?

Is that someone on here? Or do other forums have the problem with people asnwering their own posts?
Glad that the person involved stood up for themselves, but what a rip off. And it is generally people who cannot afford it who get suckered into these sorts of deals.

The person Michael is talking about used to be on here, but she caused so much trouble and back biting that there was not a single member that was sorry to see her go! (Actually just one family lamented her leaving, can you guess who?) She also managed to get another forum closed down completely because of her behaviour!fmm wrote:Is that someone on here? Lets hope the person who was almost conned completely gets some recourse from the law courts!

Re: KBS Property Investments
Regretfully - there will be a lot of 'small-print' he will have misinterpreted leaving them out through a loophole - which the 'Old-Bill' will use as their excuse to avoid digging into the company. The guy should go to Trading Standards (they usually like a scrap) and the BBC Watchdog programme.
The naivety that still exists at a time when we are overloaded with warnings and information to help even the most gullible to be on their guard - amazes me. Fortunately he had the presence of mind to stop and think
