I believe the song was written by Randy Newman ( and I can't believe you don't know of him!!!!) and sung by Tom Jones, music was used in the film about the blokes who met on the dole line and ended up stripping Damn.... can't remember what is was called.
Cowboy, you in the music buisness? I can just see you on your horse riding into the sunset with a mixing deck in front of you and speakers on you panniers!!! hehe  Ride em Cowboy. :D
Well I am off to ride my horse in the beautiful countryside of Somerset in the sunshine. Bye all 8)

 :( Ah poor you Ellie, 'you need a good man to rub something on your chest,' or should that be 'you need someone to rub something good on your chest' Hope you start to feel better soon. Lots of tlc and hot drinks.

No you don't have to hang your head in shame, don't expect you were 'into' American music of the 70's but I liked Randy Newman, as well as lots of other American artists, Bread, The Eagles, and, dare I say it country and western aswell, not the line dancing stuff but Glen Cambell, Kenny Rogers, Crystal Gale etc...... sorry, have probably let myself down now with all the music fans ie Digger and Cowboy!!

Glad you got the tree, can see why you cal it a telegraph pine tree.

And yes I do get the 'Brixton Briefcase'

funny how money can make a grown man make a fool of himself. He (Rolf) should stick to painting and animal hospital. I mean " two little boys ahd two little toys" what was that all about............and what on earth was he thinking of doing "stairway to heaven".

Seems a decent bloke though......for an ozzie.
