MUNGOS

Post by joanne »

My Daughter keeps in touch with the Bar, and we had sent Dan the Barman a 21st gift and card, but not heard from them, she was on line last night and Danielle told her that they had the Bar smashed up last week, and the staff were hurt, we had a look at his site, and they were having a Festival night, they have had to close for a few nights.

This is terrible as they work so hard and always make us feel really welcome, over next week so will have to take them some Choc to cheer them up.

How awful for them, I hope nobody was badly injured.
This is just the sort of thing they dont want.

There seem to be 2 Mungos, there is the one the majority of us know well , sometimes lively. smokey ( unfortunately )with good entertainment.
but once the season gets under way after 12.30 1..00am it attracts a different rowdier , younger crowd , often very relaxed from drinking in their villas or apartments.
This is when we leave and if in the mood go to the Jailhouse where anyone under 40 is the exception.
Has parking for zimmer frames outside.
