Car Hire Request

Hi

Have booked car for July through Economy Car Hire again - The original booking was with Air Auto but had an email yesterday saying that they had cancelled all bookings with the company because of bad customer feedback and were transferring them to other suppliers. I have had a new booking confirmation saying the new company is Rent Auto. Has anyone else ever used Rent Auto? If so whats the thoughts, good or bad?

We have used rent auto and they were good, no issues at all and decent car. Our preference is Drive4fun. We always have excellent service from them.

I agree, Drive4fun are the friendliest & most efficient.

The insurance doesn't cover tyres, last year I had two incidents involving punctures. The charge for each was under €10. Now that was a very pleasant surprise, many hire companies may have taken the opportunity to charge considerably more.

With the shortage of cars I guess I should just be grateful they have transferred me to anyone who will let me have a car with four wheels (I hope!!)

We usually use Drive4Fun through ECH, but for the next visit we will also be with RentAuto, since D4F didn't have the large car we will need this time. Have never had a problem with ECH. When our flight was cancelled due to the ash problem, my money was refunded on the same day that I reported the cancellation. I'm still waiting for the promised refunds from BmiBaby and NCP carparks.

I agree. Drive 4 Fun are very excellent and very reliable. I don't use anyone else.

Have used REnt Auto and Air Auti in pat. This time used Luz Cars. No problems with any of them.
