Hello from a Newbie + info request

I am a new member but have been to CVO several times - 2003 to 2006.

We have stayed at Collina Da Lapa and Monte Dourado. Both were excellent.

Anyway we are returning this Sept/Oct for 12 nights and since its 4 years since we were last in CVO, I wanted to ask about bar/meal prices. IIRC, we found things getting very like for like with home for prices in the better restaurants. Is this still the case? Or has the recession affected prices/choice etc. Is Beaujangles still on the go?

Due to the deteriorating exchange rate I think you'll notice a difference as you haven't visited since 2006. Typically a snack lunch with a beer is €8 to €10 and dinner with wine €35 to €45 per head. Obviously you can pay more or less but these are sensible budget numbers.

I don't think the prices have gone up much it's just that our £ buys a lot less!
