portuguese are lazy

Post by martin »

yes its official...this weeks resident say that the portuguese are the laziest lot in europe...and i agree....this afternoon i sat from my office window and watched two workers for 30 minutes while they didnt do a stroke of work.

Wrong

Martin, as you sat for 30 minutes and watched two guys not being
very productive, you were not being very productive yourself.
It is not very fair to make a general statement like that.
When I see all the highway and building construction going on in
Portugal I could hardly consider the portuguese as being lazy. :x

I would have thought it was obvious - but isn't the punchline . . .

"Sat . . . office window . . . watched . . . 30 minutes"

According to a recent article in BBC news, April 16ths, headline reads,
PORTUGAL-LAZIEST NATION IN EUROPE. To further quote said
article it says "research is officially the laziest nation, with the UK ranked
tenth, out of the 15 member states, according to a study".
OK you Portuguese and Brit's are you going to take this laying down?

What a hurtful thing to say about me, "out of the woodwork".
Just because I critized the local drivers, must I be chastised
forever.
There must be someone out there who would show me some
compassion.

I forgive you Sam (hope youre not so sad)
But you probably will not want to hear this from "me"---am I still an enemy?
Anyway--glad youre out of your Monchique cave-- nice to see you back.
