flight Chaos

I have just received a call from a pal in Florida - they should have flown back last thursday. American Airlines have advised them last night that if the volcano stops today the earliset flight they can get them back on would be next Friday!

Does anyone know if TAP are able to fly transatlantic?

I know, but are they flying NOW - my pals might be able to divert and stay in my house in CVO rather than expensive New York - the are supposed to be visiting us 6th may anyway.

Hi Macassa - I also currently have

my step-brother in Florida - due to fly last Friday but now coming back a week Tuesday!
My Brother in law, Father in Law and Mother in Law in the Maldives - coming back some time this side of Christmas via a week or two in Sri Lanka!
My Wife and children in CVO - due back tomorrow but now coming home 27th April

I came back early on Tuesday for work reasons - glad I did but it sure is lonely here!

my Pals trapped in US now arrive Lisbon on wed morning and have a coach booked to CVO! AA simply transfered them to TAP. Wonderful.
