RETROSPECTIVE PLANNING / APPROVAL FOR A POOL
7 years ago we had a small Waterair pool put in. Our lawyer told us that a kit pool didn't need planning / approval (he has since fled to Brazil). We are planning on selling the house and have just been told by an estate agent that we should have planning as, wait for it, if the Camara fly over in a helicopter and see that there are pools in place without planning you will get shopped !!! Can anyone enlighten me on how to get retrospective approval as I think the process changed last year or the year before.
Heads down next time you see a low flying helicopter..........

They don't need to fly over - just look on google maps. Thats how the teens find where the pools are to have pool parties at empty properties.

A nice story but last time I looked at Google Earth it was some years out of date. Is there a different site now or has it been updated recently?

do you know if you get charged more for water if you have a pool, and what the rate is?
