Car Servicing/mechanic

Anyone recommend local garage for car servicing/repairs - mines in for IPO early next year and I want t0 be prepared just in case!

We always use Carlos at the Cepsa
station as you approach Carvoeiro

For bodywork and air conditioning in particular, but also general servicing Manuel Pinheiro trading as 'FanelGarbe' in Parchal is excllent and charges at local rather than tourist rates. Tel. 282 422 263. website:- www.fanelgarbe.com

About 10 minutes from CVO but worth it in my opinion.

As a company we always use an English mechanic with whom we have known for the last 7-years. He is very trustworthy, not over-priced and he appreciates the work, he is called Derek and he operates a mobile mechanic service his number is: 967003163

I have used Derek several times, and can confirm he is very good and knowledgable. However I won't recommend him because he will get too busy and then won't be able to service my car and various other machinery when I need him to.
Seriously though, he's excellent at what he does, you just need to give him a couple of weeks notice.
