Best restaurants
Hi there,
Can't help you at all with diving spots, but I can with restaurants.
Check out The Portugal News website on www.the-news.net Go to "downloadable pages" and click on Restaurant Guide. You will find a large range of restaurants and write-ups as well. These two pages were uploaded on Thursday 6 May, so are hot off the press!!
However, restaurants listed are in Algarve and not in Carvoeiro. If you are staying in Carvoeiro, there is an entire road with restaurants on both sides, to choose from. Usually outside of each restaurant is a list of their dishes and prices, so you can decide before hand whether or not you can afford to eat there.
Hope this helps you a little.

Hi again,
Pubs are pretty dead at the moment.
Went out last Friday night until early Saturday morning, but nothing much was happening. Only two to three customers at the pub we visited. Quiet and dull is how I would describe it.
I think the bad weather is keeping the tourists away.

Hello Max
Me and my friends are into surfing and diving of course. I can go pretty deep though without getting the narcs, and I dont have to bother with all that decompression stops stuff either.
As for surfing, who needs a board. Course I wouldn't mind trying kite surfing, now that looks like a real buzz. Best place to check it out is the Dutch bar on Ferragudo beac.
