Portuguese Calender?

Post by katie b »

Hi everyone........
Does anybody know where I can buy a Portuguese calender showing beaches and village/town scenes?
I want to send one back to England for my mum and all I can find so far are calenders with puppies, kittens or cars on.
Not quite my mums 'cup of tea!'
Thanks for your help.........katie b

Hi Katie
The newsagents in Carvoeiro, on the out road next to Ele and Ela, usually have a wide range of nice Algarve calenders.
They didn't have them in November when we were out, i think they usually get them just before Xmas
(If you could get me one, i will happily send you the payment and postage)

Hi tricky,
Sorry but I was unable to get a calender for either of us, I tried in the newsagent you suggested and also went to Lagos and several other towns but was unsuccesful. Looks like mum will end up with a puppy calender after all!!
Thanks for your help anyway, and merry christmas!

The newsagent in the Guia shopping centre had some last time I was in there which was just a couple of weeks ago. I might be there tomorrow, I'll have a look. I bought a calender (puppie's) at the Hotel Garbe christmas fair, looked lovely only trouble is there's nothing to hang it up by.
