I am a villa owner in cvo and would like to market my property to the golfing sector in the u.k Can anyone suggest somebody who can organize golf and transport to and from both airport and golf courses.

Not wishng to put you off but we have friends who have looked into this and found it almost impossible to compete with the large hotels and golf complexes who virtually give away either the golf or accomodation.

You may find that it is just not worth the trouble ( See my post on is CVO open ) or look in any of the Golf magazines.

Had a look , its almost cheaper to take one of their accom plus golf packages than it is to pay for just the golf.

I won't go near companys now and do it all ourselves and it works out way cheaper than going through any golf companies.....last year 5 nights,4 rounds,car hire and flights came in at a total of £420.

Per person at end of June....accommodation in a luxury villa for 12. Golf at Gramacho,Pinta,Faldo and Pinheiros Altos £185,Flights £130,Car £30,Villa £75.

Contacted them direct and negotiated.

Got a deal for the 2 Cvo courses of £90 incl buggies,£65 likewise Faldo and my mate is head man at PA so £30.

Thought the deal at Pinta/Gramacho in June was 90euros for 2 people and a buggy on one of the courses, not two. Can u remember who u dealt with?

I think that as there were 12 of them and it was NOT high season that it was easier to get the deals .
