going digital

I know over here in UK everyone has had to re-tune their TV's because of going digital. Is it the same in Portugal? If our TV has to be re-tuned I'm not sure whether I will remember how we did it originally and all the instructions are in Portuguese. What I'm really asking is, can anyone please confirm whether or not Portugal has gone digital?

I have read that Portugal is going to introduce the equivalent of " Freeview " but unless you watch exclusivley Portuguese TV through a terrestrial connection then you will not be affected.

Cable and Satellite are already digital.
